One Rainy Day

It was a Saturday just like any other; one difference however was the weather. It was raining. So I started to think, what am I going to do today? It is pretty nasty outside so I went on the computer to see if the rain was going to last. It was supposed to last all day into the evening, so I decided to run my errands. I went to the grocery store and on the way back home I saw a sign for a Tag Sale / Estate sale. I figured I would stop by for fun, so I drove to the address. I got there and there were quite a few cars and people there. I mean it was raining but this sale seemed to really be hopping. Well, I found a place to park and headed in. I was greeted as I walked through the front door by a very nice woman who told me a few facts about the sale. She told me where things were, that there were other uniformed employees that could help me if I had any questions and asked me if I were looking for anything in particular. I wasn’t so I said I was really just browsing, she supplied me with a basket and off I went to find some treasure that had been overlooked. I was happily surprised to see that things were set up like a store. Many items were arranged on tables grouped together so that you could find them easily. Well I walked around and saw lots of things some seemed to be priced high too me but all and all most items seemed to be really amazing deals. I thought to myself that perhaps the items that seemed high were either antiques or held a sentimental value that I could not begin to estimate. Well, I found a few items and made my way to check out. It was great I got to talk to another employee who was just as nice as the greeter. I checked out and thought that I got a really great deal. I was also asked if I would like to leave my e-mail address and handed a business card, the e-mail would be used to contact me in the future of other sales in my area. The card had a website that I could check out myself. Well I left my e-mail and I am looking forward to going to another. I got home and looked over my new treasures and realized that I had been at the tag sale for over an hour. I went online and took a look at the website www.estatesales123.com I was pretty impressed. What started as a day with a bleak outlook turned into a really fun escape from one rainy day.
